Fathers Day Weekend

Hope everyone had a special Fathers Day!

Friday night we had a cookout with Jonathans dad and brother Chris. The girls surprised Jonathan with a grill they picked out all by themselves ;) We had a hand me down from a friend and it pretty much rotted away a few months ago and we have been missing cooking out so us girls decided it was time! It cooked some pretty good burgers and veggies for dinner!
The girls and Luke made Mr. Harrison a shirt
Look at Lukes sweet little foot in the middle :)
Then it was time for the big surprise...
Claire put an itinerary in the card for them to read to find out where they were going!
Claire and I surprised the boys with a trip to Old Waverly Golf Club in West Point, MS. We rented a villa on the course and made dinner reservations and a tee time for the boys to play fathers day morning. They were so excited! We packed up all the kiddos and headed down Saturday morning.
When we got there we got settled in and headed to the pool.

Evie and i hung out in the kiddie pool , she was quite the little water baby. I think she liked that she could stand and felt like she was in the bath. She kept dunking her face in it and thought it was funny! Ramsey just wanted to walk all around the pool but she loves for you to lay her on her belly so she can splash and kick. I need to get them in swim lessons!

We headed back for naps then got ready for dinner at the clubhouse
We have become loud little girls so we spent some time outside while we waited on our food.
playing with the water on the bushes was much more fun than sitting in a high chair!
We headed back to the condo and was entertained by Mr. Luke! He has become very alert these days and loves his daddy!
Sunday morning the boys headed to their tee time and claire and i hung around. We thought about going for a walk but it was way to hot and no way we were attempting the pool with the kiddos and no extra hands!

When the boys finished they swung by and picked us up and we headed to brunch at the clubhouse. Luke and the girls loved riding in the golf cart!
Then it was time to head home but since we had all our stuff in the car we decided to stop at the Center for some more pool time when we got home. They have a fun sprinkler park area(much better than the crazy crowded one that took me forever to get to and Ramsey had a fit at! ha) This time was more enjoyable for all of us :)
I am so blessed to have such a wonderful dad. He is so helpful with the girls and is a great father to me. I am also thankful for a great husband who is very hands on and more patient than me! I couldn't make it through some days without him. He walks in the door and immediately starts helping and doesn't care if the house is clean or not and food is certainly not always waiting for him when he walks in either!! Oh how i wish i could do it all but i have realized especially in the last few weeks i just can not and thank goodness i have a husband who understands that! Evie and Ramsey are the luckiest girls to have so many wonderful male figures in their life, they are setting the bar high for the girls future husbands :)
