Evie grabbed Jonathans face the other day and out of reaction he swatted her hand away and she laughed harder than we have ever heard her so she kept doing it and he kept swatting her and it never got old. Her laugh is contagious! I am sorry it is sideways, i didnt know how to fix it :)

Rubber Ducky you're the one!

We have been bathing the girls in the sink.Our tub is deep and it is hard to hold them and wash them, hence the reason for still using the sink. My friend Hayley gave me a seat to put over the side of the tub but we dont have enough room to store two so i bought a ducky from target for like $10 and so far it has been a great purchase. At first i thought it looked big enough to sit both of them in, but not quite. They got duck bath toys for Christmas so how fitting!

Christmas night with Jonathans mom and brother

We got together with Chris and Claire earlier in the week, but the four of us decided to get together Christmas day and exchange gifts and eat dinner.

Chris and Claire went for their 20 week ultrasound earlier this week and bought a pink and blue gift and the ultrasound lady put a dot on the one that it was. They took it with them to St. John and opened it Christmas morning. We called them through Skype and they opened the box for us to tell us what they were having and....its a BOY! We are so excited to add a little boy to the mix in May!! Congratulations Chris and Claire!!

Christmas Morning with my family

We started a new tradition this year and decided to do Christmas morning with my family so they can come see what the girls get from santa( in the future). We are bad parents and didn't do Santa for the girls this year. We figured they would get enough toys and stuff from family and so we started them a college fund and got the sitting with Santa book.

Sitting with Santa

We spent the first part of Christmas Eve taking Ramsey to the doctor! She has her second ear infection, poor girl.

Then we headed to see Santa! We went to Oak Court Mall which was a mad house. I don't know why i didn't think it would be at 5 on Christmas eve!

When we got there Santa had just left to "feed his reindeer" ha so we had to wait and just walked around. We went to hallmark to look for something special for the girls and found a Sitting with Santa book. You put their pic with santa from each year and write about what happened.
We sat them in his lap and Evie started her pouty face where she is about to cry and i told her to hold it together( exactly what i said) i also told her it would be okay Santa loves you...ha

She held it together but you can tell she was a wee bit scared! Ramsey acted like she was too cool for Santa...

Good job girls..is it bad i was secretly hoping for a pic of hem both whaling or trying to get out of his lap or something? Oh well maybe next year!

Christmas with Chris and Claire

Monday when we got home from NYC we had Christmas at our house with Jonathans brothers and mom. Chris and Claire go out of town with her family for Christmas so we always try to get together with them beforehand.

Next year we will have another little baby running around!

NYC Cont'd

We tried to listen to her for a while but kept getting the old "move along" from the NYPD so we just watched it snow and took lots of pics!

We were officially frozen so we headed back to the hotel, changed into warm clothes, grabbed our bottle of champagne and sat in the lobby

His birthday is almost over...10 more minutes!

Sunday morning we woke up and headed to NBC studios for a tour. We weren't allowed cameras so this is the only pic we got before we headed in

i look akward... i am going to blame it on a bad photgrapher...

The tour was really cool, we got to see where all the NBC news shows are filmed and all their tricks. Went to Jimmy fallons set and SNL. They had stuff everywhere because they had SNL the night before so it was neat to see it all. We went to where they do makeup/masks for SNL and the costumes.

They have alot of cool things in the store from shows now to old shows like saved by the bell

Then we headed to Central Park and everyone was sledding and playing. We actually saw some people on skis...hilarious!

We ate lunch at Tavern on the Green, a beautiful restaurant. It is closing on December 31st so we were glad we got to eat there. It has been around for over 50 years!

The room we ate in...i think it is the prettiest room in the place!

Then we went to the World Trade Center Memorial. It was so weird being right there where it all happened, very sad. This is a tree family members put up with their loved ones pictures.

"Ground Zero" is no longer there. They are building a Freedom Tower memorial building where they used to stand.

We walked to see the Statue of Liberty.

It was too late to take a ferry over to see it, maybe next time.

Ellis Island

New Jersey

We went back to the area around our hotel, did some shopping then ate at a Cafe under Rockefeller Center and watched people ice skate.

We were planning on going to the Today Show Monday morning but with all flight cancelations and everything we decided to head to the airport earlier. (suggestion from my flight attendant mother) so glad i listened to her!

We got there at 8:15 and stood in line to check in for three hours...It was a mad house!! Our flight was supposed to leave at 10:45 and i was about in tears thinking we would never get home! They came over the intercom and said all flights would be held until everyone was boarded! I have never had that happen before.
We finally got checked in, through security and on the plane! Our flight left about 1 1/2 hours late but it wasn't cancelled and we made it home! Praise the Lord

I was so stressed on the way home because we were having Christmas with Jonathans family at our house at 6:30! I walked in the door and noticed some things were out of place and i got a little nervous at first then Jonathan says, did you see you Christmas Gift? I looked around and noticed my house was spotless!!! I couldn't have been more excited. He had it professionally cleaned while we were gone. Our house has never looked so good. The first thing i did was run into the bathroom and look at the shower! Ha I swear it was sparkling! BEST GIFT EVER! Jonathans mom is a nanny and she had their their families housekeeper come on Saturday! It took them 5 hours! Thank you Thank you Jonathan, Judith and Laticia!!

Perfect ending to an awesome vacation!
