Sprinkler Park

We went to the sprinkler park again, we went last week and this is all Ramsey did.

She is not a fan of sprinklers in her face.

She loved it today though and the girls played in this sprinkler the whole time.

They are so funny and such sweet friends.

We haven't had the best experiences there but i think now she will enjoy going.

Evie loved the sprinkler park, she would just sit and let the water go all over her.

I think of her every time we go.

Rumba Room

Jonathan and Michael took Ramsey to a kiddie dance downtown on Saturday. She had a great time running around and being silly. Ramsey loves music and dancing and rap and hiphop are her fav...her new favorite song is Show goes on, she moves those shoulders and kicks her feet, one i these days i will get a video of her, she is a true memphis girl :)

Baby Cameron was born last Thursday and he is the sweetest!

We went to dinner with the Souths and then headed to the hospital to meet him. Ramsey kept saying " Baby Cameron, i want to see her" i kept telling her that "her" was a "him" :) she didn't get it, ha

Fathers Day

Jonathan is posting about Fathers day but i wanted to put some pics on here. We went to City Bagel for breakfast before church, his favorite meal of the day is a big breakfast. Then after her nap we went to visit with Papaw and play on his play set.

After School Ramsey and i went to FedEx to mail baby Lilly a package of pink necessities :) Ramsey loves fedex and notices it everywhere we go.. it is where her PaPa works and all over the house. While we were there a truck was parked in a spot and she said " I want to get in it". I told her only packages rode in the FedEx truck, not people, which made her sad :( then i remembered that at the Children's Museum you can get into a FedEx airplane, so i said lets go get in an airplane instead, so we drove all the way (30 min) to the Children's Museum....my girl gets what she asks for! haha

I cant believe i have never taken the girls there before. She loved it!

is Jonathans nickname for a beautiful little girl

Lillian Elizabeth Wadlington.

We have been praying for our dear friends Meg and Nick for a while now. They have been going through the adoption process and with many stumbling blocks along the way, the finally have a sweet baby girl! She was born Monday and Meg and Nick met her on Tuesday and officially became her parents!

I think i cried most of the day yesterday just thinking about them and how much they have been through and now God has given them this beauty! They are absolutely in love and i can not wait to get my hands on her!

Its only fitting that Jonathan gave her this nickname. "MEG" are megs initials so that is how she got her name and we have given every holiday and occasion a meg nickname. Eastermeg, lego my mego is saturday morning cartoon Meg, megnog is christmas meg...you get the point :)

We love you Meg and Nick and can not express how thankful we are that God gave you this precious gift!

Sorry for the massive amount of iphone pictures i have been posting lately but lugging a big camera around when i don't ever take a purse when i go places just doesn't work sometimes :)

My friend Tricia called Monday and had an extra ticket to new kids on the block/backstreet boys! I wanted to go but the only tickets left were crazy expensive and i wasn't sure if it would be worth it. They had bought tickets a while back so i was so excited! A group of us met for dinner at Majestic and then headed to the Forum to act like 13 year old little girls. We had the best time and the concert was so worth it. I bet you will be singing it all day now!

Please ignore my little girl screams and terrible singing voice! I am not even embarrassed to say i remembered every word to every song! haha

My Favorite Pictures

We are having Ramsey's 2 year pics tomorrow with Ashleigh. She has taken our pictures since the girls were born and they have always been awesome! This will of course be our first pictures without Evie and they will be hard to take. We are going to Memorial Park for them. That might sound weird but it is beautiful out there and people take pictures there all the time. Thought i would share my favorite pictures of Evie from the sessions we had with her.

I will Rise

It feels good to be home now.

I thought leaving here would keep my mind off things but not being home was hard. Ramsey and i have both felt better since we got back. Jonathan picked us up in Birmingham and she ran to him like she hadn't seen him in forever! Then she patted his cheeks like its you its really you, It was real sweet. I think her and i just missed him. That was the longest we have been apart since Evie passed away and i realized how much i needed his support.

Ramsey has been acting like her sweet self at least for now :) Thank you so much for your encouraging words, i know my last post was a little harsh but there is no reason to hide my true thoughts. I have a hard time sharing what i truly feel most of the time so the blog has been very helpful for me to do that. I was telling a friend that when Catherine was born i did not grieve correctly, at that time i had never heard of anyone having a stillborn child and i didn't know that it was ok to hurt like i was and i tried to quickly "get over it". There are so many support groups and other people that have been through the same thing, i just wish they were there when she was born. Having this outlet has allowed me to grieve her as well.

The lady at Memorial Park suggested putting Catherine Graces name and birthdate on the headstone as a memorial for her and i think that will give me a lot of closure.

We went to visit Evies garden yesterday and it was a beautiful night. Since it will take a long time for the headstone to get in they finally put a place for us to put flowers in under her flag. Ramsey loves kissing sissys flag, there is a huge field next to her and Ramsey just loves to play. I want it to be a happy place for her. Usually while we are there she will say "sissy lus you momma" it breaks my heart every time but i think Evie is telling her to say that :)

There's a day that's drawing near, when this darkness breaks to light and the shadows disappear, and my faith will be my eyes.

And i will rise when he calls my name, no more sorrow no more pain.

Iphone living

I love having a phone to take pictures with. When i don't want to carry around my big one its nice to have one that takes decent pics. I downloaded some recent ones and thought i would share with you my life through my iphone. its pretty funny.

First, i love being able to take a picture of whatever i am looking at on my phone. I was looking at the Tory Burch website, one of my favorite designers and i can take a pic of something and then message it to Jonathan for a little hinthint....genious!

I love being able to receive pictures.

It made my day to get this one from my sweet friend Sara of baby Colt using his wubanub i got him! I want to eat him up!

Jonathan and i went to ZooBrew with Chris and Claire....look for us on the cover of VIP magazine. Jonathan is determined to be the first no name public school boy on the cover. Wishful thinking :)

Ramsey had some type of viral infection last week before we went to Orlando and she was being a little ham at the doctors office.

I took a picture of my pedicure and new shoes to show Jonathan. Also, bragging a little bit that i was sitting by a pool doing nothing.....

....and he sent me back a picture of his feet at a gas station working hard! haha

This made me laugh pretty hard and i needed a good laugh!

He had his share of relaxation while we were gone and sent me this almost hole in one!! I still need to confirm with Chris that this is real...you never know.

We stopped to eat on our LONG drive to Orlando and decided to walk around a goodwill to let Ramsey stretch out her legs and i saw these perfect shoes for Jonathan!

If only we were stilling going to frat parties and mixers, they would have been bought!

I got this text from a friend who will remain nameless in hopes that she will not kill me for putting this picture on here. But she sent it to me to let me know summer had officially started. Just like the lighting of the torch is the official start to the Olympics, the infamous flip dive with a noodle is our official start to summer!!

I have posted this picture before of a guy who we think looks like the spitting image of jonathan.

He was on a show as one of americas most wanted criminals and jonathan and billy finally saw the show again and was able to get his name. So they are going to start researching him. ha
