Thank you sweet Amanda!! I was so honored when I saw her post and found myself as one of her 7 favorite blogs. Amanda and i have so many friends and things in common but have never really hung out but I feel like i know so much about her! I think that is what happens when you are a blog stalker like me. She has funniest sweetest personality! She has a beautiful daughter Kate who was born around the same time as the girls! It is great to read and share experiences and advice with fellow mommies!

1. Stephanie

She is uber talented!!! Stephanie and i were sorority sisters at UT and she has such a fun sweet spirit. She is an interior designer, can sew and make ANYTHING , takes beautiful pictures and the list goes on and on! I was also very honored when she asked if she could blog about my girls room! My friend Audra is moving to Boston and i know Stephanie will take such good care of her and be such a sweet friend to her as well and for that, she certainly has a beautiful blog!!

2. Anna

I could go on and on about Anna. We have known each other for years. We grew up playing church sports together then were placed in a discipleship group together when we were Freshman. We certainly had the best group led by my now sister in law Amber! Anna has a very sweet heart and you know what she is thinking by looking at her face and i love it. We are usually thinking the same thing! ha She lives in Texas now and has the most precious little girl and handsome little boy. We have the type of friendship where we can not see or talk for a while but when we do its like we pick up right where we left off. You are an amazing mother and I love you so much, you certainly have a beautiful blog.

3.Stephanie

Steph and i have also known each other forever. Played sports together and she was also in our dgroup. She lives in Nashville and has a beautiful son named Robbins. I know you are supposed to say handsome but honestly beautiful is the best word to describe him. He has his mothers awesome eyes! I have so many high school memories that involve this sweet girl. Photo shoots and the "DAD" rapists are two of my favorite memories!! Stephanie always let me tag along with her friends from gtown even though i was the Houston outsider! ha I feel like we also have the same relationship as me and Anna. We pick up right where we left off. Stephanie has such a big heart, is so great to talk to about absolutely anything, has a contagious laugh and great sense of humor, is super stylish and has taught me a lot about fashion and makeup! You love the Lord and i love you for that, you certainly have a beautiful blog!

4. Kelly

This girl is the coolest! She has four awesome little kiddos and somehow finds time to be the most giving person i know. I can not repay her enough for the amount of times she came to hang out with me while i was on bed rest. Brought me lunch and dinner and her sweet husband gave me a laptop to use and programmed it for me since i didn't have a computer ( jonathan would take ours to work) and brought me like a gazillion DVDs to watch. I have known her for a long time as well. She is friends with my sister in law and i always knew her but was closer with her brother Andy. I taught with her sweet mother at GBC and just have so many great things to say about their sweet family. Thank you for your giving spirit, you certainly have a beautiful blog!

5. Amy and Brownie-Goose

I found Amy when i was searching for "ruffle Pants" little did i know what i would find. This girls is Talented! She makes the cutest clothes and i am pretty sure if you know me and have seen my girls clothes you know who she is, they are awesome! She is another person who i have never met before but feel like i know so much about her from blog stalking. She has the cutest little girl who has the biggest personality. She isn't afraid to blog about "real life" we all know it certainly isn't perfect all the time and i am thankful that she can post the good and the bad. This is very inspiring for me. We discovered that we have been through the same situations and it was so great to email with her and share our thoughts and feelings. I know that if we lived in the same city we would be tight and for this, she certainly has a beautiful blog!

6. Erica

Erica is a very dear friend of mine. We went to college together but didn't truly get to know each other until she started dating Jonathans friend Micah. I have really enjoyed getting to know her better over the past year, we pretty much talk everyday whether its about nothing or something serious, she is so giving and sincere. She just had a baby boy last week and will be a wonderful mom! I look forward to whats to come with raising our sweet babies together! Maybe one of the girls will marry Hudson...whom will he choose?! She loves my daughters more than anyone i know and i love her for that and for this, she certainly has a beautiful blog!

7. Maggie

I met Maggie in college. She is such a beautiful girl inside and out. I am so excited because the Lord has blessed her with TWINS!! We love twins! She has an amazing story and you have to check out her blog to read it. Talk about someone who had to be patient and wait for Gods timing. I certainly know what that is like and now we can both say God has the perfect plan and i am so excited for her. Her pregnancy is going great so far and i pray for the rest to go just as smoothly! To a fellow twin mother, you have a beautiful blog!!!

3. I am part Indian...no lie my great grandmother was like 1/2 indian. I know i know the blonde hair, pale skin and freckles give it away! Its in there somewhere!

4. I am in love with three little girls and a boy named Jonathan.

5. I do not bite into anything that i cant see what is inside...jelly filled donuts, candy bars, pop tarts etc.. i know weird

6. I have a freckle on the bottom of my foot

7. I am a scaredy cat and DO NOT stay home alone...still go to stay with my parents when jonathan goes out of town!

Around the House

Saturday, several of us threw an Around the House shower for our good friends Chris and Kelley! Jonathan has known Chris since they were little and boy do they have some good stories to tell. I think most of the night consisted of telling these stories. How these boys are still in one piece today we will never know!

We had Swankys for dinner and yummy mexican cheesecake which i think was a hit! They had a great turn out and Brent and Debras house looked great! Since we had terrible weather all morning and day we were excited to see the sun shining before the shower and it turned out to be a perfect night!

Story Time

Saturday morning we headed to Davis Kidd for story time with Addie and Ella. Jonathan got to go with us since it was the weekend and that makes it much easier for me. I was able to let them go as they please instead of keeping them in their stroller. Ramsey went straight to the lady and watched her and Evie sat back with us and listened!

It stormed bad Saturday morning but it started to get pretty or so we thought..so we headed to Panera and ate outside. Look at these sweet cousins!

He arrived early Friday morning at 3:56 am weighing 6 pds 4 ozs and i think 18 1/2 inches long! Erica was induced Thursday night because of her blood pressure and man did he get here quickly! She did so good. He is so adorable and we cant get enough of him. Two sweet little boys in one week, its nice to finally get a few boys around here!

We have a new cousin!

Luke Christopher Harrison arrived Saturday night April 17th at 7:07. He weighed a whopping 4 pounds 14 ounces. The Harrison babies don't want to be over 5 pounds! ha

He was 3 weeks early. The doctors were concerned with his size so they decided to induce. He was tiny like they thought but is very healthy and we are so excited about that. We don't need another baby in the NICU!

We had to do something to pass the time, so we raced down the hallway. So gross but how else can you entertain one year olds for hours! We were able to head home for a nap in the middle of the day so that was helpful!

This morning we went with my friends Meredith, Audra and their moms and kiddos to the botanic gardens and Big Back Yard. We strolled around and had a picnic in the shade.

Tuesday my friend Cortney asked me to keep her adorable little 5 mth old daughter Anne Catherine. Little did i know that robins ( yes the birds) would be my hardest part of the day.

The day went a little something like this...

Cortney dropped her off at 8:30 and left me a schedule for the day which was great and no lie that sweet little girl did exactly what the note said! While the "big" girls were asleep AC and I were playing in the front room. I had the door open for Maddie to come in and out and for us to get some fresh air. All of a sudden i hear a crazy amount of flapping and window hitting.

I look over into my sunroom and there are birds, yes birds going nutso in my sunroom. AC heard her first curse word as she was swept up quickly, not to be attacked of course. Maddie runs in there and is jumping at them and I kept trying to get her away thinking I would have fainted if she caught one! ugh i just got the hebe gibbies thinking about it. They proceed to knock into my windows and poop all over the place, the walls, the floor and the chairs. I had no clue what to do.

Then one fell to the ground on its back, i thought it died but not to worry, it didn't, it just knocked itself out because when i started to the sunroom he hopped right up and started flying to the fan... AC heard her second curse word...I decided to go outside, where i thought i would be safe from the birds...sounds kind of silly if you think about it because now i was outside with the rest of them... anyway i noticed my neighbors yard guys were there so i went to ask them if they could help me. He looked at me like i was crazy, i guess he thought i was a "desperate housewife" or something. He goes"uh, i don't really know what to do" and i said i don't either but i have a baby in my arms and your a guy, do you have a broom or a leaf bag? He decided to get a leaf bag and come to the rescue. After a few minutes he shooed one out and later caught the other one with the bag, genius plan. I continued to apologize, i am sure that is not his job description, but he was very nice and said it was no problem. The End

The girls were great though. Anne Catherine is on a great schedule which made things so easy and she didn't shed one tear and then Ramsey decided to walk!! yay she took 6 steps! I have yet to video it but when i do don't you worry i will post it :)

It has gotten better but the first day was so sad :( she and I cried a lot throughout the day for Evie that is rare...me maybe not so much! ha

She was having a hard time crawling and looking up so she would just sit there and play with what was around her. Friday we took her back up to the doctor to get it adjusted some so it sits higher on her forehead. It made a big difference and looks so much better!

She is getting used to it but she hates when we take it off and put it back on. It is so tight that is scrapes her head when we do it. It twists when she sleeps and squishes her ear and it has rubbed the skin off and made her eyes swell. We are praying it will do its job! I hope it doesn't bother her as much as it bothers us.

We go back to the doctor next friday and see if it has changed at all. She should hit a growth spurt soon and that is when we will notice the biggest change! I just keep saying...she wont remember...it could be a lot worse ....we made the right decision...over and over. I need some encouragement from you guys whose children had it!!!

Every day is getting better so hopefully it will turn out great! I feel that our job is to do what we can to make our child's life easier and hopefully that is what we are doing.

We had the girls 1 year pics taken last night at shelby farms. Ashleigh posted a little peak on facebook and they are FABULOUS! My absolute favorite ones yet. I can't wait to see the rest!
Notice Evies little "accessory" her little maddie dog. She got it for her birthday from her Uncle Michael and she LOVES this little dog. Every time you show it to her she gets so excited and bounces up and down so we had to take it with us.

Hoppy Easter

I head that on klove this morning and i just loved it. What a great blessing!

We went to church then headed to picadilly for lunch with Jonathans family..so good!

Lukes nursery is almost ready so we went to check it out and let the girls break it in...

His bedding is so cute, it has little puppy dogs on it, Evies favorite :)

Luke will be here in a month and we cant wait!!!

We went home for a nap then went to see jonathan's dads family. We haven't seen Aubrey, our great niece, since Christmas and she is getting so big. I think she was in awe at Evie and Ramsey all over the place.

Next stop, my parents for dinner. My dad has been going back and forth to orlando and he got home today. My grandmother fell and fractured her hip. They were supposed to be coming home soon but she has to stay in the hospital for a while. She broke the same hip a little over a year ago and has screws in it. They are thinking they will not have to do surgery this time. Thank goodness! Please pray for a quick recovery for her because i know she is ready to be back home!

Rob and Amber came with her mom and grandparents so it was great to see them also!

This time last year the girls were spending their first Easter in the NICU. I remember coming to see them and the nurses put them in these egg blanket things. So cute and so tiny! No clue where the pictures are though, but here they are today :)

The girls got their own chairs for their bday from Aunt Claire and Uncle Chris! They are just their size and they love getting up and down. Now we really have no room in our house!

oh and an update on the car seat situation. I know you have been dying to know what we decided...i took Ramsey to the doctor for my first " i came here for no reason and now i am embarrassed" visit.

Ramsey has had three ear infections and doesn't really show a lot of symptoms so i have been trying to watch her more and lately she has been pushing her hand against her right ear. She got really fussy and kept doing that and laying her head on the floor and all this stuff i have never seen her do. So we headed to the doctor and she was completely fine...i am sure it wont be my last pointless visit. While we were their they weighed her and she was 19 pds...i def. thought she would weigh more so the doctor said to go back to rear facing and stay that way as long as we can. So we are back in our baby seats. The Graco ones we bought cant go rear facing. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted!

Spring Cleaning

I was getting ready for bible study the other morning and ran to get my makeup from another room. When i came back to my room..two certain little girls had opened our armoire and started "cleaning"

i think i got it all..but let me get in there and check..

I need to put them to work more often..

I went to my moms the other day for a change of scenery and we found a box of mine and Robs old clothes and toys! They were so funny.

We found several summer things and they were the perfect fit on the girls...Aren't they stylin?
