Enjoying the Weather

Memphis has been so nice the past few days so we have been spending lots of time outside.

I have also been trying to get this baby to come out so while Ramsey was at school Thursday i took Nala on her first walk, which was so funny by the way, she had no clue what to do and just kept sitting down. I vacuumed the house, cleaned out the babies closet and did some laundry. I was actually really excited to do it all..can we say nesting? I think the fact that my back has been hurting and my sweet mom was doing all those things for me, it made me feel good to be able to do it myself! I felt accomplished :)

Then when Ramsey was done with school i decided we would go to the Zoo! Mom, Dad and Jonathan met us out there.

1 week and 2 days to go!!!

Cant have a good time without having one of these.... she was mad because she wanted to climb on this big rock but it was time to go so when the fit started we all ignored her and kept walking so she got even more mad and started running towards us in a panic, i couldn't help but take a pic :)

Then Evie told us hi on the way out!!

Friday night we went with our friends and Uncle Michael to the Circus.

I don't know what we are laughing at but gotta love what pregnancy does to your face....

Ramsey's face sure does make me happy though!

Saturday morning my sweet friend Meg and her daughter Lilly ( remember her) and her sister in laws came over to visit! We had so much fun hanging out.

This morning we slept in and played outside. I wasn't feeling very well so we didn't go to church but its amazing how getting outside in the sun can perk you right up.

Bucket List

I got tickets to B.B King for Jonathan's birthday and the concert was this past weekend. I went for my checkup right before and I had progressed some but my doc said it was ok to go ahead. I was a little nervous my baby was going to be born in Tunica though...

Besides the fact that everyone stared at the 9 mth prego gambling, we had a great time! Jonathan taught me how to play Craps and Black Jack so we could get comped some free food and that we did. We ate the heck out of the Paula Deen Buffet :)

The concert was extremely short but it was really cool to see a legend on stage and hear him tell some stories.

missing you

I am really missing Evie lately. I think about her every day but some days my heart just really aches for her. I am sure it has a lot to do with the fact that this point in pregnancy i am a mess anyway.

I always look through pictures when i am sad. They usually help me and make me laugh remembering that exact moment the picture was taken but sometimes i will look at the silliest pictures and feel like i am being punched in the stomach. Something about them truly breaks my heart.

I look at pictures like this one of the two of us and i wonder if i will ever be as happy as i was at that exact moment. This was the girls first birthday, the only birthday i spent with Evie. Even the actual day the girls were born i did not get to see them or hold them. I didn't see them until the next day. Jonathan showed me pictures of them from the nicu and i remember not even feeling like i was looking at my own children. It was very strange. When i finally got to see them it was an amazing feeling.
I am so glad we had the girls pictures taken each milestone. Ashleigh always did an amazing job capturing the girls personalities and even silly facial expressions the girls would make.

They capture Evie's silliness and sweet disposition and i am so grateful for these.

I loved the idea of using the balloon for their first birthday. Little did i know a pink balloon would soon represent Evie in all of our pictures. This picture means so much more to me now. Even seeing her in this field reminds me of Heaven and i can picture her there.

Ramsey loves to paint!

We got her some more paints for Valentines day and an easel but it hasn't come in yet so we painted on the table

Here she is being OCD and lining up the paints, then she counts them and then she says what colors they are.

I will admit we haven't been doing many one on one activities lately. Ramsey has been just playing in her room or outside with Nala or watching princess movies. It is easier for me to lay on the couch when i haven't been feeling good and just letting her do that and not actually interacting as much with her as i should. She is very independent like that so its not like she is begging me to come with her and i am not or anything. Recently i have read several blogs where people were doing all these fun activities and i realized i was being a terrible mom so we have been trying to do more things like this on a regular basis, especially now that i am feeling better! Just a few more weeks that it will just be me and her so i need to soak it up!

and just because i love that Ramsey is OCD like me.... this is what she did in the shower.

I was watching her and she put the E up there then the 2 and stepped back to look at them then moved the 2 to line up perfectly with the E and so on. I think i was smiling the whole time she did it.

Happy Heart Day!

Ramsey thought it was her birthday today, ha.

Jonathan had balloons and little gifts for her in her room and in her car seat so she kept getting so excited! I had the clothing show while she was at school so Papa picked her up and treated her to Gracie Bleu, their favorite place! She is a very loved little girl!
Jonathan sent me on my way to a much needed prenatal massage! My back has already started feeling better but the massage helped even more! It was so nice to have peace and quiet for an hour!

Exhausted

I am exhausted. My back is still hurting and i am still struggling with walking and now it hurts even more to sit. I have been doing physical therapy which helps while i am there but the pain is the same the rest of the day. All i want to do is lay on the couch but that is impossible with a 2 year old and a 3 month old puppy. Who now have a love hate relationship because Nala is big enough to jump right in Ramseys face, so all day i tell nala no and get down and attempt to chase her around the house to get things out of her mouth. She has been a joy and a pain at the same time. She is pretty sweet when she is sleepy though :)

I also now have another ear and sinus infection so last night i think i slept about 2 hours total. Ramsey had school today so that was really helpful and since Nala is a dog she can stay outside ( i keep having to tell myself that so i don't feel bad when she cries to come in, she is actually loving being outside lately so that is good) and i can nap :)

My parents have been super helpful picking up Ramsey from school and mom has come over a bunch to help with Ramsey and clean because i cant do anything.

I can sit and sew though so I have been nesting by sewing. Mom and I have sewn the kitchen and living room curtains and finished up the other curtains in the house. Ramseys room is finished with her pillows and mom covered the rocker we put in there and Jonathan put the green rocker in the baby room.

The baby room is coming together which is good since we just have a couple more weeks! WOW I can't believe that! I am getting anxious and excited and nervous and all of the above. I cant wait to meet this sweet baby and find out if we will have our 4th beautiful girl or our first precious boy!

We had a false alarm on Tuesday night, i was at my friend Cortneys house for a mentoring moms get together and my stomach was so tight the whole time i was sitting there. Afterwards i started having sharp pain real low. While i was there it was every 5 minutes. However, once i got home and layed down it stopped. Jonathan and i did pack a bag though just in case! So now we are ready to go. I don't know when to expect since my water broke with Catherine and the girls. I guess i keep thinking my water is going to break and then i would know to go to the hospital.

So that is about all that has been going on!

It sure doesn't seem like a lot but i am worn out by the end of the day!

Except for when she pooped in the backyard because Nala was doing it....hahaha

I came outside and she was so excited and said look mommy i did it i did it , just like Nala!

and God love this guy who finds the funniest things in the garbage at his storage locker! ha
