So i guess i am a little behind. I have seen people posting pics that look really cool and i always wondered what it was. Well i found it on my phone yesterday and can't stop playing with it.

This was my favorite picture to play with.

My heart aches for Evie everyday. I am getting very anxious about this baby coming. I so wish Evie was here. She was such a sweet big sister to Ramsey and i wish i could see how she would be with a sweet baby just like we have gotten to see with Ramsey. There will always be a void in my heart, knowing our family will never be complete until we are all together in heaven. Family pictures are hard knowing there are two sweet girls that should be in the picture with us.

Evie was just so beautiful!

I miss everything about this sweet face. Her big blue eyes, little button nose and pouty lips. I don't know if it is because i want so badly for this baby to have some of Evie's features but all of our ultrasounds have reminded me of her and i am not the only one who thinks that so i don't think i am crazy, ha. The closer we are getting to this baby coming to the more i miss her.

This sweet thing is still helping to bring some joy to our house.

She is a little crazy at times but very sweet :)

And of course these moments always put a smile on my face :)

Back to normal

I finally got my hair did. I haven't done anything since September and i was starting to look rough!

Its been way to long and i am short and blonde again.

I feel like my old self again :)

Nephew #2

I had several titles for this post and everyone made it sound like our baby was here and it was a boy!

We got a wonderful surprise call this morning that our nephew Reid was born after just a quick 30 minutes in the hospital for Claire, no time for epidural and if the hospital wasn't right around the corner from their house Reid just might have been born in the car! ha

He is so sweet and looks just like his big brother Luke except he has a full head of black hair. He slept the whole time we were there today and Ramsey loved holding him!

She is getting some good practice and looks pretty good holding a baby :)

Ramsey didn't know how to handle Claire being in the hospital bed i don't think, i think it upset her. We have visited several babies in the hospital and it has never phased her. She was so excited and kept asking about the baby then right when she got in the room she shut down. I have been told that when the older sibling comes in to not be holding the baby and not be in the bed. I think i will definitely have to do this for her. After a while she was all about him and held him the whole time. She didn't want him to wear his hat she kept wanting to rub his head and gave him a few kisses also. I cant wait to see what Luke does when he meets his little brother later today!!

We have been going to this open gym in town on Fridays and Ramsey loves it. I had a harder time keeping up with her this time since i still can hardly walk!

Big Day

Our new bed got delivered today, yay!

I finished sewing the pillows just in time! It looks really dark in this picture for some reason but it's a lot lighter.

So we moved our bed into Ramsey's room today.

She was so excited she kept saying thank you, thank you so much and i love it! ha I finished her duvet cover this week also, i still need to make her pillows but we are getting there!

Jonathan just went in her room and took a picture of her napping, i think she likes it :)

She wanted to take a bath before her nap for some reason so we did that and i decided to trim her hair. She has never gotten a hair cut before so this was her first! I have also never cut hair before but i decided i couldn't do too much damage if i just trim the ends.

This was her reaction when she saw what i cut and she told Jonathan to put it back...so he pretended to do just that and she was happy.

You might also be thinking to yourself, wow alicia sure has blogged a lot today! :) Well, I have hurt my right hip/tailbone somehow and can hardly walk. So i have been laying in the bed since Ramsey went to sleep. I have no idea what happened. Maybe the baby is on a nerve or something but i tell you it hurts! I had spine surgery and have two metal rods in my back and usually have some back pain, they did surgery on my right hip as well and it has never hurt like this. Here's hoping it goes away and i am not in the bed for the reminder of this pregnancy!

Beauty and the Beast 3D

We took Ramsey to her first movie Wednesday night! She loved it. She just sat there and ate popcorn and watched the whole thing. We got up once to go potty and her 3d glasses kept falling off she she took them off for about half the movie. Hopefully she didn't ruin her eyes. You would think if they do a 3d kids movie they would make 3d kids glasses...just a thought.

Mommy and Me

My friend Kristen sent me this cute quiz that has questions for your child. You ask them each year on their birthday and see how the answers change. I think she saw it on Pinterest. She also told me about it because when she asked her son who is best friend was he said " Mrs. Jimmye Nan" which is my mom and his sunday school teacher! I thought that was so cute.

I decided to do it today while we were laying around and she had some cute answers. I didn't prompt her at all. Whatever she said first, i wrote. Some of the questions i would ask a little bit differently since she looked at me like she didn't understand what i was saying.

My favorite part of this video is when the boy comes and puts the surfboard up there and ruins her moment...ha

Once again i have been a blog slacker and to catch us up quickly it has to be through my phone!

Ramsey likes to help me cook :)

She likes to cuddle in our bed with Nala after she takes her shower, yes i said shower. She loves taking showers and it makes it easier on me so i love it to!

Michael and Jonathan took her ice skating at the zoo! she did pretty good and really liked it!

Nala is getting so big. We went for her 8 week check up and she looked great and weighed 9 pounds. Her head circumference was..jk but i totally felt like i was at a newborn checkup!

She likes my belly just like Maddie did.

Mom and i painted our kitchen this week and Nala wanted to help.

I also noticed while going through my phone that there are more pics of Nala than anything else! I am a little bit obsessed with her. Even though she barks at me when i tell her no!

CMOM

Ramsey loves going to our childrens museum here. We have been twice this past week. Her favorite part is the green screen where you can dance and look like you are in a music video and fishing in the river.

We still like to hoard things :)

Happy New Year!

How is it already 2012?!

We had a fun low key night with friends last night at the Millers house.

Nala came with us, but Ramsey went to the Tiger game and stayed with Nana and Papa. The fact that my two year old and parents went downtown for New Years and we didn't was pretty funny to me :)

It was nice ringing in the New year with sweet friends who have been there for us this past year. What a year it has been. I honestly don't remember half of it, thank goodness we have this blog. This year brought a lot of changes for us, selling our house, moving, finding out we were having another baby, trying to get used to a "new normal" while missing our sweet Evie and adding sweet Nala to our family. It has been the hardest year for me but we have also had many happy moments as well. We are looking forward to what this year will bring. We pray that this year will bring more Joy than sorrow and are excited to see what God has in store for us. We are getting anxious about this sweet baby and finding out what it is!

Thank you for support and prayers this year and walking through this time with us. Your comments are always so encouraging to me. Thank you for encouraging me through potty training. I think a lot of my problem is doing things i thought i would do with Evie and Ramsey and when i am sad i get more frustrated. Ramsey has done great and hasn't had an accident since the park! yay I can see the light at the end of the tunnel! ha The real test will be when she goes to school Tuesday! ha

I really am so proud of you Ramsey. I have loved watching you grow this year. You really have developed such a sweet and silly personality. You are the reason i get up in the mornings. You have been through more changes than any two year old should go through and the way you have handled things amazes me. I know you will be an amazing big sister, you have such a sweet heart and kind spirit. You are always so concerned about other peoples feelings and are really in tune to peoples emotions, especially mine and daddys. These things will carry you through life and i pray you stay this way. I love you so much!
