Punta Cana!

Jonathan took me on a surprise vacation for my 30th birthday!! 

We woke up bright and early and flew to Atlanta. 

When we got to the gate i found out where i was going....

Then of course said, "Fun! Where is that?!" ha for those of you like me and didn't have a clue, its in the Dominican Republic. I was so excited, i had never been there before!

It was such a pretty flight.

We landed and it was pretty chaotic . Everybody is pulling at you and trying to get you to get in their cab and buy stuff and we couldn't figure out where our travel company was at first but finally did and made it to our beautiful resort! Jonathan did such a great job planning :)

The water was beautiful! 

We got very lucky with the weather. Hurricane Isaac had just hit on the other side in Haiti but we had great weather the entire time. It rained for like 5 minutes one night.

We are horrible at taking self portraits! ha

 They had shows every night that you could go to in an outdoor theatre

 We had no cell service which was nice but we could get a little internet access in the lobby. 

Jonathan is trying to get the Tennessee score and wanted to watch it but we couldn't.

 There was a fun night club, karaoke bar and casino we could hang out at.

Best hubby ever :)

 Jonathan was very active and played volleyball....

 I was very lazy and did this the whole time...

We did both relax with poolside massages!

 I am so thankful for a wonderful hubby to plan such a fabulous trip for my birthday!!!
