She weighs 29 pounds and is 34 inches tall! According to the old wives tale of doubling your 2 year old height to see how tall you will be...she will be 5'6-5'7. I wonder if that is true?

When you ask her a question she tilts her head and says yeah( long and slowly) ha we are working on yes mam :)
She has a crazy memory. We drive by something and she will say the persons name who we were with when we went there or she saw a lady chewing gum today and said Kennenadi bubble. When Kennedy was hear she was chewing gum and Ramsey wanted her to keep blowing bubbles, that was like 3 weeks ago. I didn't even remember that.
She can't get enough of her baby strollers, earrings, necklaces and her sunglasses.
She loves to swing. We will go to the playground and that is all she wants to do.
She sleeps with her blankie, arf arf, sissy arf arf and her sissy pillow
She loves singing twinkle twinkle, jesus loves the little children, jesus loves me, itsy bitsy spider, doing her God our Father prayer, row row row your boat with motions of course :)
She loves to color and play with playdough
She loves going to school and loves her debbie-shebi (her teachers) she can name every child in her class and her favorite to talk about is Emma.
She loves to name her friends and then everyone else in their family. Her favorite is saying EricaHudson and eely (hayley)
Her favorite foods are yogurt, chicken, turkey, strawberries, goldfish, bagels with cream cheese and jelly and chocolate milk.
She is hard headed and stubborn yet so sweet and loving at the same time.
She is what gets me through each day and seems to always know exactly when i need a hug or a kiss (she loves kisses) My favorite is when she hugs the back of my leg around my knee just like Evie used to do.
She has amazed me in how she has dealt with losing her best friend and constant companion, moving in with my parents, losing maddie and just adjusting. I don't know how she has done it.
Sitting hear thinking about all she is doing and writing it down makes me miss Evie so much, what would she be saying, what we she look like with piggies. Every time i change Ramseys diaper, put her in her car seat, lay her down for a nap, my heart drops and reminds me Evie isn't here. We have been without her for 4 months, how is that possible?
I hated being at the doctor without her today, the first time to take Ramsey and not have Evie. How much would she weigh, how tall would she be?
Precious post! Made me tear up. I will say before I teared up I died out laughing at "nipples." Ramsey and Ella would love each other. Ella says "right dare" and "utter one" too. I wish we lived closer!
ReplyDeleteyou are such a good momma.
ReplyDeleteI only know you through your blog that was referred to me by one of your college friends. I'll have to say that you are AMAZING!! I don't know how you get through each day. I read your blog posts and I tear up every time. I know you miss your little Evie trememdously. You need to know how many lives you have affected by your your trust in the Lord, your strength and courage. You have made other mommies and daddies, like me, be more patient with our children; not to take a single day for granted; and to trust in the Lord even more!! You have made a difference in my life - and I thank you!!
ReplyDeleteRamsey is such a sweetie.. I love when they start talking with that little girl voice. And a mother's hug to you..
ReplyDeleteNancy
Meyers does so many of those same things...I guess it's because they are so close in age. I love the love pats and the hugs behind my leg, too. It warms my heart!
ReplyDeleteI will say that Meyers does not know about nipples:), but she does know about bras and pretends to put hers on when I do. Okay...that might be TMI:)
It is natural for you to long for Evie, and to be drawn to wanting to be where she is, because she is with Christ, and we should all have the longing and desire to be where He is. How easily this world can pull us away. But God loves us so much, he reminds us to be drawn and long to be where he is, through our struggles - and we all have them, even those whose lives seem perfect, and that they don't have any struggles - they do. (I will give them singleness of heart and action, so that they will always fear me for their own good and the good of their children after them. Jeremiah 32:39)
ReplyDeleteSince then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set you mind on things above, not on earthly things.
Colossians 3:1,2
My heart aches for you. I am so so sorry you are going through this. Praise God for Christ and the joy in eternity He holds.
I will rejoice in doing them good and will assuredly plant them in this land with all my heart and soul. Jeremiah 32:41
I am discovering each day that the purpose behind every struggle and every blessing in life is to lead us on one pathway to depending more on Christ.
Oh Alicia, I am praying for you right this minute, and lots of minutes in between my postings. I have told you this before, but Evie has made me a better mom; I am just so sorry you dont get to hug her today.
ReplyDeletelove~
