Saturday i headed to a Sip and See for my friend Colleen to see her little girl Mary Carlisle! She was so sweet and we had a great time visiting. I headed back to the house and picked up the girls and Jonathan to go to Whit's first birthday party. It was a water party and the kids were having so much fun. It was great to catch up with friends we hadn't seen in a while. Jennie made all the kiddos sand buckets with their names on them. We cant wait to use those :)
Then we rushed to our friends the Cannons. Cortney turned the big 30 on Saturday and her sweet husband Chris threw her a surprise party. She was definently surprised to see all of us standing in her carport when she pulled in!

Afterwards, we headed to Salsa for Debra's birthday dinner. Brent had a buffet set up for everyone and yummy chocolate cake! The girls were worn out by the time we got home!

The storms hit again Sunday morning and we lost power about 7 am. We usually sleep with fans and sound machines so i thought the girls would wake up but they didn't, just me, then i couldn't go back to sleep because it was too quiet!! We ate breakfast at Perkins then dropped the girls off at my parents and went to the St. Jude Classic. For those of you that don't know, Jonathan and i met when we both worked there 9 years ago!! It turned out to be a really pretty day!
We spent the night with my parents Sunday since our power still wasn't on. My aunt gave my mom their old pack and play and i guess they like it. They actually slept 8 hours the first night they stayed there and have been doing 7-8 hrs since! Thanks mom and dad :)
Our power finally came back on Monday night. We did have to throw away the majority of the stuff in the fridge and freezer. We still had meals from friends in the freezer!! Bummer
We did clean the inside really good though, i didn't realize how nasty it was! Glad the food i eat is in there..ugh
Fun weekend! Your girls are so social! :)
