Amber was in labor all day and then went for a csection late this evening.

We took over the waiting room and had fun :)

 Then got to go meet the newest member of the family!

 Ramsey was in love and has accepted the fact that he is a boy now

the whole pregnancy she said it was going to be a girl even though we knew he was a boy.

Evie Grace

Today marks 3 years since Evie went to be with Jesus. 

We spent the day with just Ramsey. 

We went to gymnastics, lunch, Evie's garden and took Ramsey to see Frozen. 

Frozen was a great movie!

The beginning was tough for us. Its about sisters who have to be separated at a young age and in the beginning there is a song about how she wishes they could still play together and now she's all alone, then the parents die and then the movie starts again 3 years later...really?

But besides that being a tear jerker the movie was so good and Ramsey loved it!

The flowers for our Lessons and Carols Service at church were in Memory of Evie.

We love you so much Evie and miss you every day. 

We can't wait to see your beautiful face again.

St. Jude Marathon

The St. Jude Marathon was supposed to be today but it was canceled due to bad weather! Jonathan was so bummed and we felt so bad for all of our sweet friends who were running for Evie.
Jonathan and Rob decided to run anyway and they started at Memorial Park and ended at their own homes.

We got to grant our third wish because of you! We went to the Children's Museum for the celebration and got to take a sweet picture by Evie's brick.

I decided I need to post more videos. 

We are always taking videos and I forget to put them on here.

The first is of Reese. She has mad fine motor skills, I am her mom, i can brag :) ha

I was amazed this tower stayed like it did and she was so proud of herself!

We do Elf on the Shelf at our house and ours is Cocoa. Evie and Ramsey named him. Last year he did lots of fun stuff but this year he didn't feel like it... ;) So he would just end up flying into different parts of the house and the girls loved finding him each morning. We have the book that talks about him and what he does. We don't use him like you are supposed to. But obviously reading the book Ramsey heard that you cant touch him or his powers would go away.
Well apparently she touched him. I had no idea nor would I have cared. But she came into Reese's room where we were playing and started crying. I asked he what was wrong and she said " I touched Cocoa and now he wont be able to fly". I mean she was sobbing. I told her it was no big deal we would fix it. She asked me if God was mad at her of course i told her no and then wondered where she had heard God would be mad??
So we talked about it and she kept crying and then she told Jonathan and he came up with a plan...

Christmas Time

Christmas used to be my favorite time of year. I was obsessed with decorating, buying presents and  everything else. When Evie died I dreaded Christmas. Every thing about it brought a memory, good and bad. We always got a new tree but we stopped that tradition and bought a fake one the year after she died. Was it ok if i put her stocking up? What do i do?

Two years ago I bought an angel stocking and had great plans to take Ramsey and fill it with toys she thought Evie would like and then donate them. It never worked out that way. I guess she is too young and she didn't understand exactly. I know its something I would like for her to do when she is older or maybe she will think of something. This year I decided to get all new stockings. I guess i needed a fresh start or something. I bought another angel one for her and then one for Ramsey, Reese and Nala.

So this year i actually felt a peace about Christmas. I was happy to decorate again. It wasn't a chore this year or something I was doing to keep me busy like it had been the past 3 years.
I took out the ornaments that I cherish with Evie's picture and other special ornaments people sent us and could look at them and smile instead of want to crawl in a hole and cry.
I was told each year would get "easier". I almost didn't want to believe it but it is true. I think about Evie all the time. She is mentioned almost everyday in our home and I pray it will always be that way.
