Birth Story

I can't believe we made it all the way to my induction day! My cervix was trying to prove itself this time :) My section was scheduled for 4:30 pm on Wednesday. I didnt sleep at all the night before and then couldnt eat all day either. Pretty miserable but it was all worth it! We decided to take Ramsey to the zoo that morning with her friends and i am glad we did. The funniest was when people would ask when i was due i would say at 4:30 today and i know they did not expect me to say that!

We headed home after the zoo, my parents got Ramsey and Nala and we got ready to go to the hospital.

People always asked me if i thought i was carrying different this time. I never really thought so but the pic before the girls were born was around 32 weeks and then this picture is 39 weeks so i guess i was def. bigger with the girls.

We got to the hospital and all checked in, i was getting so anxious. I knew what to expect with the section but i kept going back and forth with what we were having. It was very exciting!

My sweet friend Jessica got to work and be in the section with us. I loved having her in there!

They told Jonathan to call it when the baby came out. When Jonathan said "its a girl!" i couldn't stop crying and saying i wanted it to be a girl over and over! It was so awesome. My doctor brought her around so i could see her and she looked huge to me and just like Ramsey! Jessica got to take care of her and do all of her measurements.

Finally Jonathan was able to bring her around to me so i could see her better.

She still looked just like Ramsey except all that dark hair!

We went to recovery and Reese went with us. I loved that. Jonathan went to share the news with our family in the waiting room. They had all predicted time of birth and whether it was a boy or girl. My brother got it right on with 5:28 and a girl! ha I look extremely tired but this was the best feeling ever, having her lay with me after she was born!!

This delivery was so much different from the girls. I am so grateful Reese is here and healthy and this was the first time i actually got to hold my baby alive and well after she was born. It has been such a wonderful and humbling experience. I am so grateful God blessed me with another baby girl. She will never replace Evie and Catherine but she is a sign to me that God is love and she has brought us so much joy in the two days she has been here. I feel Evie and Catherine while i am holding her and it truly is amazing how each baby brings you so much love and you still have the love to go around. My sweet friend audra says it well in this post. Evie and Catherine have a special place in my heart and no one will every replace them. Their spots will not be filled with another child, it will always be obvious there is something missing but there is so much promise that one day i will be with all 4 of my sweet daughters and my heart will be complete again.

I just cant get enough of her :)
