We got a wonderful surprise call this morning that our nephew Reid was born after just a quick 30 minutes in the hospital for Claire, no time for epidural and if the hospital wasn't right around the corner from their house Reid just might have been born in the car! ha
Ramsey didn't know how to handle Claire being in the hospital bed i don't think, i think it upset her. We have visited several babies in the hospital and it has never phased her. She was so excited and kept asking about the baby then right when she got in the room she shut down. I have been told that when the older sibling comes in to not be holding the baby and not be in the bed. I think i will definitely have to do this for her. After a while she was all about him and held him the whole time. She didn't want him to wear his hat she kept wanting to rub his head and gave him a few kisses also. I cant wait to see what Luke does when he meets his little brother later today!!
He is so sweet and looks just like his big brother Luke except he has a full head of black hair. He slept the whole time we were there today and Ramsey loved holding him!
She is getting some good practice and looks pretty good holding a baby :)

I have been reading your blog for over a year and I think I have only commented a handful of times. :) This may sound silly but I have two cute burpcloths I would love to send you for your new nephew, Reid. My neighbor was going to name her son Reid so I had 2 burpcloths made, 1 with the name and the other with "R". She named her son something else! Haha. I have been holding on to them, just waiting for the next person to name their son Reid but no such luck. ;) Email me an address I can ship them to if you're interested.
