With all that being said i wish i had those cds for days like today. After school Ramsey and i played in the backyard with the water hose and a little pool and just had fun, old school style. I taught her how to drink from the water hose ( i don't think kids do that anymore), blew bubbles and enjoyed a beautiful day. I even played with my camera, which i enjoy doing. I have a lot of learning to do but i was excited about how these turned out. The only editing i do is what is on iphoto on my computer, cropping, changing the color and stuff like that.
keeping her glasses clean, i think she learned this from claire this week :)
My favorite!
I love how changing it to black and white makes it so much better
Antique looks pretty good to
then good ole fashioned original
I am slightly obsessed with the aperture on these
dont freak out...Ramsey does not have a busted lip
she was just using the WORST bubbles invented ever...
Crayola color bubbles in pink flamingo
I gave her the bubbles to use and i was rinsing out the pool and talking to my friend Meredith then i turn around and this is what i see!! It stained the patio and her body!
She was so mad at me when i took them from her, threw them in the trash, then had to spray her down with the hose.
Don't buy them :)
old school bubbles are the way they should stay!!
I'm laughing SO hard about the pink bubbles! I did the EXACT same thing...threw them in-the-trash!! Clearly a parent did not invent them!! Love the pictures! Precious!
ReplyDeleteYup, threw ours in the trash too - old school is the way to go! :) Love the pictures - you've got a talent for sure!
ReplyDeleteShe is such a beauty. Love the last photo! I heard awful things about those bubbles. The Easter bunny was supposed to bring some but apparently he heard all the bad reviews because they somehow didn't make it to the baskets. Smart bunny!
ReplyDeleteWow crayola lost their mind when creating these! I would have had a split sec panic attack seeing that "blood" everywhere! Sheesh!! Ramsey is so precious with her little blonde curls!
ReplyDeletePrecious pictures!! Love the editting!
ReplyDeleteWe got those bubbles for Easter and they are terrible. I have a stained sidewalk and the bubbles have "disappeared". ;)
love the pics! you are such a pro!
ReplyDeleteahhh i love those days just hanging in the backyard doing girly things :) !! we are actually gonna paint a canvas for Laniers room today. How fun to be messy. OK so NAPSTER was like all we did in college and I look back to those days and even wonder why we even had those HUGE CD players in our rooms, when all i did was listen to music on the computer. My how old school it does ALL seem. I Love your pics, my fav are action shots when no one is looking but the camera & i love that with all the chaos in a picture, simply putting it in black and white can lure the eye in. !!!! hope to see you soon
ReplyDeleteI love checking your blog every now and then to see cute Miss Ramsey, but rarely do I leave a message...Just had to add that Collier got those bubbles in her Easter basket, too. We now have pink spots all over the driveway that won't wash away, even after a bleach scrub down. At least Ramsey was "topless" while playing with them! One cute Kelly's Kids outfit is now in Collier's playclothes drawer because of those blasted bubbles!
ReplyDelete~Stacey White
I am cackling at the colored bubbles. At least she looks like they taste good! We need a playdate. Next week is my last week of school!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteShe is adorable! Love the big bow! So glad you had fun at the beach. We go to Sea Grove every year and I love it - wish I could live there, too!
ReplyDeleteyep.. we HAD those bubbles.
ReplyDeleteI love reading your blog. But I have to comment on one thing. I so downloaded from Napster during college and had saved the cds and put them on my original ipod. Now they are on their forever so it's really funny to see what was popular back then.
ReplyDeleteWORST BUBBLES EVER! We got the blue ones and it was like concentrated ink. Nasty! That was a terrible idea on Crayola's part!!
ReplyDeleteI have been reading your blog and praying for your sweet family daily since Kelly's Korner linked you on her blog. I just had to finally comment. I love these pictures and LOVE the one of her drinking from the water hose. Absolutely precious! You take some great pictures!
ReplyDeleteThose bubbles are the worst! Hallie got them for Easter and they completely stained our patio...and our house is on the market! Awesome!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely LOVE the pictures of the girls in their apple dresses!
Hi! I've never commented before but I love reading your blog! I have a daughter the same age as your girls : ) Totally agree about the bubbles! The other night I was cooking dinner and my daughter Sophie and my husband went out on the patio to play with her new colored bubbles and about 10 minutes later she comes in screaming with her dad behind her with what looked like blood all over her face. I about had a heart attack until my husband told me it was the bubbles and when she pulled the wand out, they splattered all over her face. She was crying because they got in her eyes! Who invented these things!??! Haha, clearly NOT a parent! Needless to say, they went in the trash!
ReplyDeleteOh, and I'm right there with you on the Napster thing. HAHA!
ReplyDeleteLove the water hose pictures!
ReplyDeleteGood to know about the bubbles. I was going to get Meyers some, but I will definitely NOT be getting them now:)
