I hope everyone had a great weekend!
We started our holiday weekend with several friends by going to eat at Majestic and see Wicked on at the Orpheum. I am not really a big play/opera person but the last two i have seen i have really enjoyed. I saw Lion King in LA and when it came to the orpheum last year. Both plays are really good!! The costumes and singing were incredible. Very talented people! My mom and Amber kept the girls. We are so thankful for them:) They said they girls went down around 10pm and lucky us didn't get woken up until 9:30 am!!! The girls have really been spoiling us lately by sleeping 8-10 hours for the past 2 weeks and thursday was almost 12! I guess they are going through a big growth spurt or something. It would be nice if it will last, but i am sure it won't.
Friday, Jonathan ran in the Firecracker 5k for St. Jude. Last year several of us ran/walked it for Catherine Grace. This year it snuck up on us. I didn't want to walk by myself so we waited for daddy at the finish line. He did a great job and ran in 29 minutes.
Saturday, we dropped the girls off with my mom. Several of my aunts and uncles were coming to spend the 4th at my parents so they were all excited about seeing the girls.
We headed to pickwick to our friend Robs lakehouse for the "Deep South Red Carpet Event", every year there is a theme. Robs birthday is on the fourth and he turned the big 3 0 this year. It is always so much fun and just a crazy wkd.
We hung out on the lake all day saturday and had great weather. We had a fun weekend with great friends and several we hadn't seen in a long time! We miss the Harts and Skintas :(
Now we are getting ready for our trip to Orlando, we leave Thursday!!
