We are enjoying these beautiful fall days before its way to cold to step foot outside!

School Days

The girls are loving going to preschool. They are going one day a week but i feel like they are already learning so much. They clean up their toys, notice flags everywhere because of saying the pledge every morning,they love to color more now and Ramsey actually goes around with her finger over her mouth saying shh, haha. It cracks me up!

Anyway, we had open house the other night and i loved going to their room seeing their art projects and pictures and meeting other moms and kiddos.

Evie was really excited to go also :)

Ramsey even felt like brushing her teeth.

They love to brush their teeth. Every time you go into the bathroom they point to the cabinet and say "peas" . The only way to get them to put the brush away is to bring the cup they are in and tell them to put them away. Don't even think about trying to take the toothbrush from them...cranky cranky!

Part 2 Oh yes i did...

....Pay it forward :)

The girls and i went to walk the greenline this morning. As we were walking i notice two little kids playing, there were other people around so i assumed they were with someone. I got closer and realized they were alone! They were wearing their pajamas, didn't have shoes on and the older one had fallen and skinned her knee. I stopped and talked to them and ask them where their mom and house were, but i don't think they spoke english, they also seemed very young, so maybe they just didn't understand me.

There are houses all along the greenline so i assumed they just came from one of them and the parents didn't notice that they snuck out the back, so I stayed awhile thinking one of the bike cops would come or their mom would, but no one ever did.

Finally, another man and lady stopped and I told them what was going on. Since it had been 15 minutes or so with no sign of a parent, we decided to call the greenline cop number, no one ever answered so we called 911. We stayed and played with them and tried to talk to them..in Spanish.. all i keep saying was donde su casa, donde madre.. haha i don't even think that is right, no wonder she wasn't responding!

We finally noticed these gold necklaces behind their shirts that had their names and birthdate on them. The boy was 20 months!! They girl just turned 3!

Finally the cops showed and then a lady rode by an heard us "attempting Spanish" haha and she spoke fluent spanish, thank goodness. The little girl was scared at this point with several people there now so she still wouldn't respond to the lady. By now it had been 30-45 minutes with no parents showing up!

Finally the girl started to respond to the lady and pointed that her house was down the way. So the cops took the kiddos down the greenline. I wanted to follow but they said they were good and it was time to get my bunch home for lunch. I am very thankful that the girls and maddie literally sat there and didn't make a sound. I guess they knew something was wrong. I kept checking back and they were still walking the other was so who knows if the little girl knew what she was pointing at :(

So, heres praying they found their home and parents..

oh yes i did...

....leave my car door open while i was in target...

seriously!? I have lost my mind.

I walked out of target, looked at my car and thought, well thats not my car or is it..did someone break in, why is my door open?? Then i get closer and when i stop the cart and go to check it out an older lady gets out of her car and says, i am glad you came back, i have been sitting here making sure no one broke into your car, you left your door open sweetie! haha

How sweet was that? I had both girls in the cart and i said, well i cant imagine how i did that?! Its great to know there are wonderful people out there! Thanks whoever you are!

I guess i need to pay it forward :)

art and soul

I had an art and soul paint party the other night and we had so much fun!!

I chose the sunflower and i think everyones turned out really cute.

life's a beach!

We went to Destin last week with my family and had a wonderful trip! We got there Sunday night and left Friday morning. The girls loved the water and the weather was perfect. I dont think i have ever been to destin and it not rain a drop! The drive certainly took longer than it used to! ha We got there in about 9 hours and the girls did great in the car, until we go to the florida line, then Ramsey had enough! At least we had Nana and Daddy Jack to entertain them ;) Rob and Amber met us there, they went to New orleans a few days before. I took over 400 pictures...i couldn't help myself..my subjects were too cute and my camera is awesome...have i told you how much i am obsessed with my camera?! yes i know i have ;) I have picked one ok maybe three or four...pics from each day to share with you! Enjoy

For dinner, we picked up food from Sarah K's Gourmet. I highly recomend this if you are in Destin. She has everything made for you, you pick it up and bake it. We had crab cakes, shrimp mac and cheese, and biscuits! Yummy Yummy

Tuesday, the girls were fearless. Evie would run towards the water, sit down and let the waves crash on her and laugh. It was so cute. Ramsey had fun playing in the sand and walking the beach with Nana.

For dinner we went to the Red Bar, another place you have to go to.

It used to be an old general store in Grayton Beach and they have jazz music every night.

While we waited for a table we headed down to the beach.

Wednesday, another beautiful morning at the beach. We dug a hole and the girls sat in it forever.We kept filling it with water and they had a ball.

That afternoon we went to the outlets then attempted some christmas card pics...didn't turn out so well, they were having none of it! Its getting harder to get them to sit next to each other and smile! ha

That night we went to Baytowne Warf . We ate dinner, listened to music and rode the carousel...someone did NOT want to get off! haha

Thursday they played with their cute sand pales and kept wanting them filled with water.

I love that they play well together.

We saw this expression all week. She was definitely in her element!!

So much that she literally passed out on jonathans shoulder while they were still in the ocean, so he layed down with her and then attempted to pry his arm out from under her. She slept a good hour and then still took her usual 3 hour afternoon nap! worn out!

After nap time Daddy Jack got them wound up!

We ate our last meal on the beach at Pompano Joes while enjoying another beautiful sunset!

We headed home Friday morning, but not without a stop at the Donut Hole!
