Mr. Sun oh how we missed you!

I don't know about yall but having the sun out completely lifts my spirits!

We joined the zoo this year and got a membership to where we can have a guest come with us for free. It is totally worth it and only $20 more a year. It cost $15 just to get in once. I comletely recomend it if you havent done it.
Anyway, mom and i took advantage of it and headed that way on Friday afternoon.

The animals were all out now that it is warmer so we got to see everything and even met the newest zoo member...

The girls enjoyed playing peekaboo, their favortie to play now. They put stuff over their faces and wait for you to say "wheres..."and then pull it down. Its amazing what they can learn and how much more they do from even a few weeks ago!

Daddy met us after work!

I think the sun helped them to be happy , we were able to be there for several hours and they just chilled and looked at everything. The both clapped for the sea lions during their show! ha

Then we headed home and did some swinging till the sun went down

best buddies

Evie and Maddie have had quite the connection since the very beginning...

If you know us at all you know we are obsessed, to say the least, with our Maddie girl. I gave her to Jonathan while we were in college and she is the sweetest little thing. She sleeps in the middle of the bed and anywhere else she pleases, eats people food, "convinces" us to take her for a walk when its pouring or like the past few weeks, snowing.

She is a very good dog though, doesnt chew things, bite or growl. Well she barks at these greyhounds that walk in the neighborhood. Their owner kicked her and she hasn't forgotten. If you say "get those greyhounds" she goes nuts and runs to the window growling and barking!
Other than that she wouldn't hurt a fly. We don't even hesitate to let her get near or around the girls. I can hear some of you gasping now.
I have talked alot about how Evie smiles, laughs and reaches for Maddie when she comes near her, it is so cute. Well, she has learned that if she puts her hand next to the highchair that maddie will come lick her hand. So then she started putting her puffs in her hand and giving them to her. I finally remembered to film her.

Please notice how gentle Maddie is taking the food from her, love her!

First Valentines Day

Dedication

We finally had the girls dedicated today! I was so nervous but they did great. Here is a little video

It was so cute when Evie waved at everyone and then Ramsey claps at the end, what little hams!
We chose Job for our verse because our high risk doctor said our story reminded him of Job and i hated to say that when he said that i couldn't remember his story. He told it to us and it just hit close to home. We had our first little girl taken away from us but God gave us twice as much as we had before in our twin girls. The next verse is written on a canvas in their room that a friend of ours made for our couples shower.
The majority of our family was able to come which made it special. Then we headed to Panera for lunch.

and she's off!

Evie is quite the crawler these days! All of a sudden she did it. As you know we have been going to physical therapy to work on strengthening her neck and shoulders. We went last Monday and Evie did so good!! She did everything they wanted her to do. She "excels"( that is what they said, not me) ha in fine motor which means she is at 10-12 months, language she is at 10 months and gross motor she is at 8-10 months. She is almost there!! We are so proud of her. She really comes out of her shell when it is just her. Our next thing to work on is crawling further than 5 feet and pulling up on her own. If she has all of that the next time we go then she is done! yay!

We also notice she will do something if she really wants to. If there is something she wants then she will crawl to it if not she is content just sitting there or rolling to her stomach and playing with her toy. Once she gets what she wants she lays down, you can see this in the video

If you give her a phone..look what she does..

You can hear Ramsey in the background, she is mad because i put her in her exersacuer so she wouldn't get to the phone first. This is usually what happens and Evie doesn't get a chance so she just doesn't try.

Evie is waving and if you show her a picture of herself and say, thats Evie, she smiles and laughs. Her new word to say is Bob and so Jonathan is convinced a man named Bob comes to hang out while he is at work, ha. I think she is trying to say bottle but who knows!
I am so proud of my sweet girl. Everyone compares her to Ramsey and says Ramsey is doing so and so when will Evie, which is very frustrating. Just because they are twins doesn't mean they will or should do everything at the same time. So that is why i am bragging on my Evie girl:)

i give it a 10!

Jonathan and i celebrated our 10th Valentines day this year! On facebook this week you were supposed to put a pic of you and your significant other up and put how long you have been together and stuff. This is the first picture Jonathan and i took 9 1/2 years ago! We started dating in June of 2000 and got married in May of 2005. We will have our five year wedding anniversary this year!

We went out Friday night and Michael came to stay with the girls. Jonathan took us to a new restaurant Judd Grisantis then headed to Erling Jensens for dessert. I have been so bad about taking pictures lately so i don't have one of us but Michael took some pics of the girls and their fun night!
