We had a great play date at the park Tuesday monring. My friend Stephanie was in town and she brought her sweet boy Robbins! I was so glad to meet him for the first time, he is precious!

after the park Steph and i headed to her parents house and the kiddos took a nap and we got to visit and catch up. Then we headed to lunch at Salsa with Ashley and Amanda. We loved having you in town Stephanie! Come back to visit , better yet... move back home!!!!

I wish we had gotten it on video but we took everyone to the dog park last week and Maddie gets so excited when you get close and she does these loud happy whines and Evie was doing it back to her in the car. It was so cute!! She keeps them entertained when she is in the car thats for sure.

We had a Char Char dragon, chunky monkey, tinktinks and a ralfie( bunny, but she looks like the kid from christmas story)

It was so fun with all the kiddos. The majority didn't know what was going on but the parents had fun! Here we are going to our first house.

I used to love to "fall Back" but with kiddos that extra hour just disappears :) They woke up exactly an hour earlier which i thought was funny and at night they seem to be tired sooner but overall it hasn't been as bad as i thought it would be. They have already gotten back in their routine i think, knock on wood...

Happy 7 month birthday girlies!

The girls have been busy this month! They have grown up so much and are doing so many new things. Please tell me time will stop soon. I held my friends new baby girl this wkd and realized i have already forgotten how tiny they used to be :(

A few happenings....
talking up a storm
chewing on everything.. and their toes

sleeping in their own beds( this one was hard but they kept rolling on top of each other so we figured it was safer)

Evie weighed 15 1/2 pds last week at the neurologist, but i don't know about Ramsey maybe a pound less, she certainly feels lighter!
Ramsey sits up by herself and Evie is doing great with a little help, she is getting stronger and stronger every day:)

We are eating fruits and veggies!

We were going to start trying some foods when they girls turned 6 mths. Since they were preemies our doctor advised us to wait until 6 mths since their tummies were only 4 mths and it will hopefully decrease their risks for allergies..but who really knows? It is all a learning game for us parents!

We are starting with one thing a day and sometimes we do oatmeal mixed with some type of fruit to make it more yummy for breakfast and some days we do a veggie for dinner. They are splitting a jar now and then eventually we will work up to their own jar and then two meals a day and then three. They have enjoyed everything it seems and no allergic reactions so far which i am thankful for. We started with bananas, then after a few days went to applesauce which i think was sour and last night we had sweet potatoes and they really liked those. We will stick with sweet potatoes for another day or so then move on to something else. I am thinking peas? Those sound good :)

We are ready to eat now...

Please don't be concerned about the bumbos on the countertops, our children were under our supervision at all times you do not need to inform child services..thank you :)

We went to breakfast at Bryants the other morning..if you live in memphis and haven't been you need to go. We had the best conversations with people, it was fast even though the line was out the door and the food was great!

Pumpkin Patch and Zoo Boo

We had a fun fall weekend!

Friday night we headed to Zoo Boo at the Memphis Zoo. It was all decorated and had entertainment (well if you call singing pumpkins entertainment) rides for kids, Hayride, a magic show and trick or treat stations..Jonathan and i racked up! They had a lot of great stuff to do for kids so i know the girls will enjoy it when they are older.

Saturday morning my cousins came to visit us. Meredith was in town for fall break so we are glad she got to finally meet the girlies! We were lazy from our busy night so we were still in our pj's!

We went to the agricenter to pick out our pumpkins and take some pictures. I have been to the corn maze there and seen a sign that said pumpkin patch but didn't really know what to expect. We got there and the pumpkin patch was a tent with pumpkins under it..hmm So we went next door to the farmers market and they had some great places for pictures and lots of pumpkins to choose from! It was so cold and windy so we were out there for like 5 minutes and then mom and jonathan headed to the car with the girls while i picked everything out. Here is our attempt at some pictures!

Jonathan kept the girls for most of the day sunday while i went shopping and headed to our niece, Mallory's baby shower! She is having a little girl, Aubrey in a few weeks! We cant wait to add another girl to the family! What a fun christmas this year:)

OuR fIrSt BeAcH tRiP!!

Sorry i am just now posting! We have been busy and i have been lazy :)

We had a great vacation to Edisto Island, SC last week.

Our first stop on our long road trip was Nashville at Aunt Peggys house! We spent the night Friday then drove onto Knoxville Saturday for the game. We have a taiglate with Jonathans pedge class every year and we didn't choose the right game..haha we should have picked the Georgia game! We still had a great time! We felt like students again, our seats were next to the student section a few rows behind the team on the 50 yard line! It was awesome!!!

We got to Knoxville later than we thought so mom took the girls to the hotel and we went to the game. We thought we would have time to show the girls campus but maybe next time!
We left Knoxville and headed to Edisto on Sunday. The weather was gloomy for the first few days but we headed to the beach anyway!

We relaxed, ate alot of seafood, the boys played golf, went to the pool, played putt putt and then the sun came out towards the end of the week so we had a great beach day!!

The girls stayed with my parents and Rob, Amber, Jonathan and me went to Charleston. I love Charleston! I haven't been in a few years since my friend Stephanie got married there so i was excited to go back! The houses have so much character, they have great shopping, a beach and historic churches. We enjoyed walking around the city!

We left Edisto on Saturday and headed to Atlanta. We were planning on getting there in time to watch the Game but realized it started at 12:30, we thought it started at 3! We listened to it on the radio then stopped outside of Atlanta to eat and watch the rest of the game.We let the girls stretch out their legs and they loved sitting in the booth!

The girls were in good moods so we continued to Birmingham and stayed there ( the video of the girls i posted earlier was from the hotel Saturday night! It was so funny seeing them act like that. They smile so much when the look at each other now! What an awesome bond they will have for the rest of their lives! We are so blessed :)
