Congratulations Paige and Michael!!!

Here are a few pics from the Weekend!

The girls at the luncheon

The day was beautiful on Friday. We ran errands then went to Haleys house to finish putting things together. They put a tent over their tennis courts for the reception and the wedding was going to be on the grass next to the house. We went back and forth on getting a tent for the ceremony because it was supposed to thunderstorm Saturday night. They decided not to because the chance of rain kept going down. The rehearsal went well and we headed to a restraunt on the river for the rehearsal dinner.

Ready for the dinner!
Me and Ramsey

The wedding was at 7:30 on Saturday. The rain held off until people started arriving then it started sprinkling. We decided to keep on going and by the time Paige was down to the alter the sun came out for the rest of the ceremony!!

Thank goodness for the tent for the reception, it stormed like crazy once the reception started. Water was coming onto the court under the tables and the DJ decided to be real cool and leave so his stuff wouldn't get wet!!! Its okay though because we got a speaker from the house and set up peoples ipods. haha! Everyone ended up having a great time! We left at 1 and the party was still going! Paige and Michael were leaving at 5 am so lets hope they made their flight to Mexico!!! I think Paige still had to pack...

Evie didn't like the thunder and lightning

Mom and Dad took the girls back to the hotel to put them to sleep and Jonathan and I stayed and had a great time!
We are so thankful to them and Rob and Amber for being in charge of them the whole wkd!!
I was busy doing stuff with Paige so it was nice to not have to worry about the girls also!!
We have such a great family! I loved catching up with all my aunts, uncles and cousins!! Can't wait to see all of you Thanksgiving, if not before!!

First Road Trip and meeting their cousins!

The girls went on their first big adventure this past weekend!

We headed to Winchester,KY (near Lexington) for my cousins wedding. It took us about 7 hours. Rob, me and Amber went up on Thursday and took turns driving and sitting in between the girls. We fed them before we left on Thursday morning then they slept until we got to Nashville. We stopped for an hour to eat, feed them and let them move around a little. We got back in the car and they were out again for about 3 hours then we stopped about an hour outside of Lexington to feed them again. We only stopped about 30 min. that time since we were so close. The fell back to sleep until we got to lexington and they were ready to get out! Good thing they had Aunt Amber in the back to entertain!! We finally made it to Winchester and hung out with all my family at my cousins house. Everyone was so excited to see them. Some were seeing them for the first time!

Their cousin Kennedy, who was a BIG help all wkd!

big girls!

Happy 4 month birthday Evie and Ramsey!!!

We went to the doctor today for their 4 month checkup. They had their shots again and really didn't like them this time. They both started crying when the nurse held their legs down, i guess they knew what was coming.

Ramsey and Evie are in the 50th percentile for everything, so they are moving up. I think they were in the 20th at their 2 month.

Ramsey
12 pds
23 inches
40 cm head

Evie
12 pds
23 1/4 inches
39 cm head
Evie has caught up to her sister!!

They are catching up to their developmental age!
He wasn't as concerned as we were about Evies head. He said to make her lay on her right side and that might help. If it is not better by her 6 mth then they will do a xray of her skull. She will turn her head both directions so he is not concerned that she has torticollis. We go to physical therapy again next week so we will let you know how that goes.
He told us to start trying cereal so that should be messy and fun! Then start with fruits and veggies every other day if they want them, if not try later

What we are doing now...

Sleeping 10-12 hours at night (they love sleep like their mom and dad)
eat 5 ozs every four hours
We changed them to Nestle Goodstart and don't have to use the preemie formula anymore, Thank goodness, it was expensive!!
They are staying up after they eat for about 1-1/2 hours and when they start to get fussy, I either put them in a swing or in the afternoon, in their crib. They take a 1 1/2- 3 hour afternoon nap, which is good for me
They still love to be swaddled
Finally wearing size 1 diapers, 0-3 mth and 3 mth clothes
smiling, talking and laughing
Ramsey likes to lay on her tummy and can roll over
Evie likes to lay on her back
Evie loves sitting in her bouncy and talking to her lion and monkey
Ramsey loves to play on their mat and hit and grab toys
Ramsey gives herself hickeys on her arm and drools all over herself
Evie holds her hands and puts them in her mouth
They both like their bumbos, which has helped with Evies head control since every time we try to lay her on her tummy her face stays flat on the floor, haha
They both love to stand up, Evie likes to jump up and down and Ramsey likes to be pulled up from the floor by her hands and then stands up.
They are starting to watch and smile at each other and every time you put them on their mat they hold hands or lock arms :)
They watch Maddie and laugh at her when she is in their room.
They don't like to have their fingernails clipped or nose suctioned( i don't really like to do that one, haha)
A little TMI for you...they go to the bathroom at the same time. At least i can get the stinkys done with all at once, hahaha The first of many quirky twin things i guess

That is all i can think of for now.
Thanks for checking on us:)

checking for monsters...

.....is what Maddie does at night

We have a little nightime routine here at our house. We bathe the girls, put PJ's on, turn down the lights and feed them. One of us sits on the floor against the ottoman, the other in the chair, then Maddie goes under the bed. We have no clue why she does this so we can only think she is looking for monsters and protecting her sister :)

Country Club Cuties :)

Yes, i know that sounds bad but i thought it was a cute title... :)
We took the girls to Windyke today for the first time. The weather was perfect, you would have no clue it was the middle of July!

Evie
Ramsey has been all smiles lately and tells us all kinds of stories!
After 15 minutes or so Evie had enough so i wrapped her up in her towel and we cuddled in the chair. Every time i hold her she grabs my top, such a mommas girl
Ramsey and daddy continued to swim until he accidently splashed her in the face. It was pretty funny though, she can give some good mad faces!!
Jonathan wrapped her in her towel and she was out cold!
While Ramsey slept, Jonathan swam some laps and me and Evie played
We left the pool and headed home and some friends and their kiddos came over for a cookout. We can't get enough of this great weather!
