Nashville Surprise

So I knew Jonathan and I were going to eat dinner Saturday night for our Valentines but when we woke up Saturday he said get ready as soon as you can and pack a bag. At first I thought, fun we are going downtown and spending the night. Then we drop the kids off at my parents and we start heading the opposite of downtown and he says we are going to Nashville, what?? 

I was so excited. I had no idea.

We arrived, checked in and went to the lobby how fitting to have a drink in a cowboy boot!

We walked around downtown and tried to scalp some FUN tickets. They were playing at the Ryman so we walked around and could hear them rehearsing when we put our ears to a side door. 

But that was the closest we got, couldn't get tickets!

 Then we ate at The Southern a great recommendation from our friend Jenny!

 Jonathan's burger! so delicious!

Then it was time to hit the town!

 Sunday we slept in then went to Green Hills to shop

My uncle Lee was in town so we went bowling!

 Sweet Ramsey. Holding onto daddy while she watches her ball go down the lane! ha

 Then we found the golden ticket. They have a gadget where the kid can roll the ball off of it and it goes straight down the lane. We used Ramsey to get us our spares for us :):)

Poor Reese, stuck at a bowling alley at 10:00 pm on a Friday night!

A week full of LOVE

We had a full Valentine's week!

I hosted a cookie exchange for the girls in our Sunday School class. 

We had a great turnout and a great time! 

 Jonathan and Ramsey went to the Tiger game!

 I took the girls to school, met my trainer then when i came back out to my car Jonathan had left my favorite breakfast!

 Then i get home and notice little pink hearts on everything he knew i would touch or use!

This one is funny because he knows i am obsessed with turning on this lamp. I think it's part of my OCD or just a habit but i love that he knew i would turn it on! ha

 This one was funny too. I pulled into the driveway and noticed all the blinds were open except one. This would only bother me, to the point that i had to go open it the second i walked in the door. My first thought was why would Jonathan open all but this one, how annoying... Then when i went to open it, i noticed the heart on the chord! He did it on purpose because he knew i wouldn't be able to stand it!! haha

Reese and i met Jonathan for a Valentine lunch then went to Ramsey's Valentine Party at school!

She had a pajama day with a pizza lunch and a party. P week obviously :)

After school Ramsey crashed on the couch 

 Uncle Michael came to see his girls and bring them Valentines!

 I cooked Spaghetti Squash for our Valentine dinner

It was delicious!

Jonathan did dishes!

Acts of Service is my love language :)

 Then we had a movie night and watched Peter Pan

 Then daddy surprised us with Gigi's cupcakes! yummers

Happy 3rd birthday Princess Garland!

When the girls arrived "Prince Charming" greeted the princesses with a necklace and ring :)

Belle came to Garlands party!

 Afterwards we found out another sweet girl is being added to the mix!

Baby girl Stiles will be here in July!

 Our first trip to the zoo this year.

 February has been unusually warm so we ate outside the other night.

Reese also had 3 helpings of this Lemon Chicken recipe I got from my friend Cortney and

  Pioneer Woman

My only suggestion on the recipe is to do 1 lemon for the marinade and 1- 1 1/2 lemons for the pasta. I think she writes to do like 3 or 4 and it was WAY to lemony the first time I made it.
