graduation day

The girls have moved from swaddles to sleep sacks! We have used their swaddles from waist down for the longest time but they are moving all over and they un velcro. I have been looking for some sleep sacks and being the picky one i am i have been having a hard time. My mom found these at Spoiled Sweet in Germantown, cutest store if you haven't been! I love them. They are Swaddledesgins and we used their cute blankets when the girls were real little but i didn't know they made sacks. Jonathan took this with his iphone and it looks really weird but
anyhoo, dont they look cute and warm?!

at least we still have a mascot!

We headed to Oxford friday night for the UT/Ole Miss game. We stayed with Claire's parents and went out on the square that night. I was looking around, while yawning, wondering how i did this every weekend for four years...oh the college days!

Here we are heading to the Grove to tailgate
Their cups say "Hotty Toddy" and luckily we found some Orange "Cheers Yall" in the cabinet.
I wasn't about to use a hotty toddy cup!
If you have never been to the grove you should sometime. It is so fun and so cool with all the tents. People certainly go all out to say the least! Yes... Jonathan got a crazy amount of stares and comments about those pants! Several Ole miss people wanted to take his picture and actually told him they liked them. Others not so much...
Then it was time to head to the game. I would have never guessed the next four hours would bring so much sorrow...
Look at all that beautiful orange though!

We'll get you next time Ole Miss, and your little McCluster too....

sick as a dog..

Well this week has been quite eventful!
Ramsey started getting sick with a little cough the first of the week then it starting getting worse and Tuesday night she woke up around 11 with 104 fever. We continued to give her tylenol then she just sounded and acted pitiful so after tylenol not helping we headed to the doctor.
I was so thankful for my friend Emily. We were at lunch when all this went down so she took Evie to her house and watched her while i took Ramsey to the doctor.
I was glad we went on ahead because she had an upper respiratory infection and fluid in one ear. He prescribed her Amoxicillin and said to continue with the tylenol to help the fever.
They did weigh her and she was 15 pds 10 ozs! big girl!
So needless to say our week has been full of some restless nights! She keeps waking herself up coughing and trouble breathing. We bought a humidifier so hopefully that is helping.
Last night she woke up around 2am and we couldn't get her back to sleep until after 3. She kept sneezing and coughing and after trying everything i finally just decided to give her some milk, thinking it would at least calm her. I hadn't done that in months so i was a little hesitant but the doctor said when babies are sick you might as well throw schedules out the window.
That helped and she finally fell asleep then slept until 9, so i am glad she got some more rest.

I did manage to take some pics from earlier this week

Evie playing with her bottle
Ramsey
Ramsey has been coughing almost the whole time i have been writing this, so it looks like we might have a long night ahead of us!

blessed

My life has been blessed with 4 wonderful grandparents.
Meemo and Dada came to visit while the girls were at my parents, they are the girls only living great grandparents and i think that this picture is real special, i just love it!

Reunited and it feels so good!

We headed to Knoxville for the Memphis game with Michael, Chris and Claire. When we got their we met some friends in the Old City at Barleys. I realized how much i don't get out much when we got there and they carded me and i didn't even think to bring my license! After me and jonathan went all the way back to the hotel to get it...we had a great time!
With perfect football weather, we walked to the strip and ate at the roaming gnome or something, it used to be charlie peppers. Everything on the strip is different every time we go there.
On the deck overlooking the strip.
Some great East Tn people watching!!
Then it was time to tailgate and we met up with my college roomies!
Amy's parents had a tailgate and we had so much fun!
we had a great afternoon catching up
Thanks Alexanders for having us!!
The Vols put quite a stomping on the tigers, I kindof felt bad for my hometown team... key word being kindof... :) Chris certainly was not happy... however, i think Baby H enjoyed his/her first VOLS game! Maybe aunt alicia and uncle jonathan can convert him/her :)

i've got a fever...and the only cure is Nana and Daddy Jack

or Gran or Pops we still cant decide... :)
The girls stayed with my parents thursday night because we were heading to Knoxville Friday morning. Mom called when we were about to leave and said Evie had a fever. I was a little concerned because Ramsey had some stomach problems the day before so i was hoping she didn't have the same thing. They gave her tylenol and put a cold rag on her head and it broke quickly so we felt okay leaving. Who knows what it was, maybe teething. She was fine the rest of the weekend.

Baby girls first fever :(
